wow ,these boss woofers are very high quality.they really hit hard and deliver big bass.all kinds of it,real low,and hard hittin.these i recomend for everybody that likes bass .only thing was weird was i order 10 inch diablo,but i got 10 inch phantoms.but im not even complaining,they are the about the same if not better you know.boss is the shizzle,im stoked .they really boom,i got two,i wish i had more room for four of em.buy these i tell you..

Some people say you can’t have your cake and eat it too… With this sub you can. I built my own box to fit behind my truck seat and since it was almost the exact same specifications as what the manufacturer called for, it sounds amazing! You don’t need thousands of watts to have a TON of clean, great sound. Tune your amp right, put the sub in the right enclosure and this sub will treat you well. For the money I paid, I’m getting more than its worth. From this sub alone, I’ve become a big fan of BOSS Audio!

This thing is crazy for how cheap it was! I am very impressed at the quality and sound produced. I started out running it on a cheapo pyramid amp and it sounded good, then upgraded to a JVC with 175 watts RMS running to it. it sounds excellent, in a sealed box in my chevy S-10. it was just what the doctor ordered to add that missing low end punch in my music. It sounds like live music, the perfect combination with alpine door and dash speakers and a Sony deck.

I’ve owned several different brands of subs in my lifetime, including JL, RockfordFosgate, Alpine and more. I have also worked at several audio shops, so I’ve heard some good and some bad subs. I needed a single 10″ for an install in a smaller car with a single box, I needed one with a focus on Sound Quality and could handle 300watts from my Alpine mono amp. I didn’t want to spend much and Infinity has a fantastic reputation for speakers and subs, ie: Kappa and Perfect series.

After carefully reviewing some options from other companies, I chose this sub because it is a great value and is underrated in terms of power handling. It is of high build quality and more importantly sounds great. In a .75 cu foot box, it is crisp and clear on tight drum kicks but can still handle long and low notes from rap songs. It is a must for anyone looking at a good valued SQ sub. As with any speaker, it is all in the setup. Get the right box, provide a quality clean signal (good amp and head-unit) give it some time to break in, and TUNE your system. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, especially with Amazon’s low price and free shipping.

Just keep your old DVD player. Blu ray is better quality and definition, But you’re gonna spend a lot of money replacing those other movies.

First off……There IS a huge difference, both in picture and sound. If you have a TV that is capable of showing a 1080P picture then it is well worth the money to get the Blu-Ray Player.

The first guy is correct in saying that a Blu-ray player will play your existing DVD’s, but what he left out is that IF you have the blu-ray hooked up to your TV using an HDMI cable then you can set the unit to play only at 1080P which will also make you regular DVD’s look better. Obviously they won’t look as good as the Blu-ray disc.
For those people that can’t see the difference…….chances are there is a problem with the setting on your unit, or they are not using the right cables, or the movie that they are watching was converted to blu-ray (HD) format instead of being recorded in it to begin with. Until this year almost every movie was shot with a standard def movie camera and then converted to HD. Now most movies are being shot in HD from the get go.

Standard dvd players use 480p disks and that’s the max resolution they can display.

You don’t say what resolution your tv has, but if it’s 1080p, then you should get a Blu Ray player as it’s disks are 1080p and therefore you see a much clearer picture.

Even tho your tv will upscale the 480 signal from the dvd player, it will use a fill in the lines methods and the pic will not be clear.

Blu ray players can play regular dvds so you will be able to use your collection.

Is this a HDTV or a standard def Rear Projection TV?

A BluRay player will work on both – but you will not see the glorious high-def video on a standard def ‘big screen’. It’s almost NOT worth buying a blu ray player unless you have an HDTV.

I bought this for the first PC I built. Very easy installation. This drive is a great bang for your buck.

The only word of caution, this is the OEM version of the drive. It does not come with the Serial ATA cable needed to connect to your motherboard. Luckily my motherboard came with extra cables but that is something to consider when purchasing. But you can get a 18in SATA cable on amazon for a couple dollars so it’s not a big deal.

I finally decided to take the blu ray plunge by adding a blu ray drive to my HTPC. This drive was inexpensive but still had solid reviews, so I took a chance. I couldn’t be more pleased. The drive was installed and working in a matter of minutes, the PowerDVD software included works perfectly, and the playback is amazing.

After spending almost 4 months weighing the pros and cons of upgrading my PC to be bluray enabled, I finally jumped the gun when I found this drive.

The drive is a BULK item, which means it comes with the drive only. No cables, no manual, no instructions, but this DOES INCLUDE BLURAY SOFTWARE. It comes with PowerDVD8 Bluray Edition, which works fine on my Windows 7 32-bit machine.

The drive itself is very quiet, and loads Blurays very quickly. It has a nice black finish on the front, and looks great in my tower. Installation was quick and simple, after finding a SATA cable laying around, I slid it into my tower and hooked it up. I then booted my computer, and the drive was instantly recognized by Windows 7 and was ready to use. I then installed the included PowerDVD8 software and rebooted again. 1 minute later my computer was bluray ready! Please note that the included software ONLY PLAYS 2.1 SOUND. You have to upgrade for ~50 dollars to have 5.1 sound! This won’t affect most, but if you have a home theater you will need to consider the cost of the upgrade when ordering this drive if you want full 5.1 sound.

As for the difference between DVD and bluray, it IS noticeable for sure. I played the same movie on my two monitors, one DVD, and one Bluray and there was a big difference in visual quality! It is definitely worth the 60 dollars to upgrade to Bluray!

NOTE: When you first install the PowerDVD8 software, it has you run a Bluray compatibility checker. This failed for me the first time and had me kind of worried. I then updated the software and ran the checker again and it PASSED. Just make sure to update the software before running the checker!
